The Eredivisie remains a fruitful hunting ground for Europe's top leagues and has many possible targets for clubs looking to strengthen this summer
Netherlands' inability to compete with the top guns of European football at club and international level may prevent their best players from showing off their talents on the big stage, but the Eredivisie still has a solid reputation for producing bright young stars.
The likes of Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord are always supplying the continent's richer leagues with players looking to test themselves at a higher level after a successful time in the Dutch top flight and this year there is another group of stars from across the league ready for a step to another division.
Here, Goal takes a look at some of those options.
Hirving Lozano (PSV Eindhoven)
PSV went through a lot of hassle to snap up the Mexico star ahead of Manchester City, landing him on a six-year contract.
It took just a few appearances for the lively 22-year-old to be linked with a move away from Eindhoven, as he quickly took over as the Eredivisie's top scorer.
With 13 goals and seven assists, the quick, skilful and ever-happy attacker is having a fantastic first season with the Dutch league leaders.
If he keeps up his current form – and stops collecting red cards – heading into the World Cup, a big offer could be incoming before next season begins.

The €15 million Ajax forked over to sign David Neres from Sao Paulo represented a huge outlay for an Eredivisie side, but the 20-year-old looks well worth the money.
Neres has made himself a key player for the Amsterdam side since this season, getting nine goals and assists each in 23 games for a side pushing for the league title.
A big move has already been mooted for the tricky winger, but Ajax will be determined to hold onto him.
ProShotsBrandley Kuwas (Heracles)
Heracles were able to hold on to their undisputed star Brandley Kuwas despite reported interest in him heading into the January window.
The 25-year-old skilful and creative winger leads the league in assists with 11, has four goals to his name and has helped secure vital points for the Almelo side.
Kuwas fancies himself in one of the Eredivisie's traditional big three sides, but a few foreign sides are said to hold an interest. He still has a bit to go on his contract, but it won't take a hueg bid to convince Heracles to let him go.
PROSHOTSLuuk de Jong (PSV Eindhoven)
Back in good form after a rough year and a bit, Luuk de Jong may feel the time to move on from PSV is fast approaching.
The striker was a goal machine in his first two seasons back in Netherlands after a dismal time at Borussia Monchengladbach, helping Phillip Cocu's side to back-to-back Eredivisie titles, but the magic has since worn off.
A move failed to materialise earlier this season, but a switch to the Bundesliga or Ligue 1 could be on the cards in the summer.
